My Why

Music has always felt like home to me.

I’ve always had an old soul. Even as a kid, I was drawn to the music of the ’60s and ’70s, along with classic country. I still remember sneaking my Mimi’s iPod Shuffle to school so I could listen to Carole King on the playground, knowing deep down that this was what I wanted to do with my life.

I’m a Texas-born singer-songwriter, and my music is a blend of country and soft rock that reflects where I come from and everything I’ve been through. I was born and raised in Pampa, Texas, and over the years I’ve worked to build a sound that feels honest — one rooted in real life, real struggle, and real heart.

My path hasn’t been easy. I’ve lived through some really dark seasons, including surviving a long-term abusive relationship. I’ve struggled with anxiety and depression from a young age. And in 2020, I survived a severe accident when I fell from a third-floor balcony onto concrete. It’s a miracle I’m here. And through every bit of it, music is what grounded me. Writing and performing became how I processed pain, found healing, and kept moving forward.

Today, I’m a mother to two beautiful daughters, Crimson and Clover. They are a huge part of why I keep chasing this dream. I want them to see that no matter how hard life gets, or how far away your dream may seem, you don’t stop going after it.

Up 'Til Now

Over the last eight years, I’ve been building my career as a professional musician — from my early days in the Texas Panhandle, to developing my sound in Lubbock, to performing regularly now across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. I’ve played venues like the legendary White Elephant, Cook’s Garage, Cactus Theatre, and Hotel Turkey, and I’ve got more opportunities on the horizon as I continue expanding into new markets.

Most of my performances so far have been acoustic, but this next chapter is about growing into something bigger. As this album comes together, there will be more full-band shows, more production, and more opportunities to bring these songs to life at the level they deserve. I’m also currently collaborating with a major name in Texas country, which is something I’m really excited about as this next phase starts to unfold.

That’s what this campaign is about.

What's Next

I’m ready to take my music to the next level — not just by writing and performing, but by creating a record that fully represents who I am as an artist. A record with stronger production, wider reach, and the kind of support that can help these songs connect with more people.

To do that, I’ve partnered with Edgewater Music Group to help raise the funds needed to make this album the right way. And we already have major-label distribution lined up, which means this music has a real path to reach far beyond where I can take it on my own.

The Challenge

But the truth is, making big moves in the music industry is expensive. Recording, musicians, production, mixing, mastering, marketing — all of it adds up quickly. And like so many independent artists, I’ve been carrying as much of that weight as I can by myself.
